‘Where are you going to-day?’ says Pooh:
‘Well, that’s very odd ’cos I was too.’
Come on a guided stroll with Pooh around the Hundred Acre Wood in East Sussex. We’ll hunt woozles, play poohsticks, trap heffalumps, visit Rabbit’s friends and relations and quite possibly discover the North Pole. We’ll visit all the real-life locations from A. A. Milne’s much-loved books, including Pooh’s Thoughtful Place, Eeyore’s Sad and Gloomy Place and Christopher Robin’s Enchanted Place: there’ll be hums, hunts, smackerels and, of course, plenty of honey. This is a walk for six- and sixty-year-olds, for anyone who likes “a little something at eleven o’clock in the morning”.
Start: Pooh Car Park, Chuck Hatch, TN7 4EX, 11am – for a little smackerel
Finish: Pooh Car Park, 3.30pm
We’ll start with tea and a smackerel at Pooh Car Park.
We can arrange transport from East Grinstead station to the car park for a small extra charge (est. £4 per person depending on numbers). We recommend the following train for this:
