WE ARE DELIGHTED to announce a new event at the Idler Academy with historian Dr Matthew Green based on his new book, London: A Travel Guide Through Time, a masterful evocation of the sights, sounds – and smells – of old London town through the ages.
The date is Wednesday 8 July. Complimentary gin will be served.
Many of you will know Matthew from his talks at the Idler Academy in London and at the Port Eliot Festival, or from his excellent pamphlet, The Lost World of the London Coffeehouse, published by Idler Books.
