Join us for a week of lounging and learning in Piero della Francesca’s Italy.

Our week long retreat takes place in October 2017 at Villa Pia, a retreat centre and holiday spot with lovely gardens, tennis court and swimming pool in the heart of medieval Umbria.

Your hosts will be the Idler’s Tom Hodgkinson and Victoria Hull. Guest speaker is historian Tom Holland and craft teacher is Ros Badger. Over the week we will learn about medieval and ancient philosophy, and think about our own lives. There will be trips to churches and the chance to make your own notebook for jotting and reflections.
