The Idler turns 25

30 Aug 2018 | Events

We’re throwing a party to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

On 13 September we are throwing a “celestial” party at the lovely NOW gallery on Greenwich Peninsula to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Idler editor Tom Hodgkison will be holding a salon on Idler history and talking to Mark Vernon about angels. There will be a talk from Idler co-founder Gavin Pretor-Pinney, now running the Cloud Appreciation Society.

Plus there’ll be an art walk with Tim Richardson, dancing with the Mudflappers and music from German Theremin duo About Aphrodite. Our new issue featuring Jordan Peterson and Jaron Lanier, plus back issues, will be on sale at the event. The event itself is completely FREE and there will be complimentary drinks.
